Description:

To provide an overview of the political history of the Philippines from the earliest Filipino communities to the present, in historically accurate and aesthetically engaging ways.

Political developments from the earliest communities until the present which highlight the role of the Filipino people in nation-building.

Political developments in the creation of the Filipino nation;
political events, figures, challenges and issues that have shaped Philippine political history; various aspects of nation-building.

The museum consists of four (4) galleries containing displays in various formats, an audio-visual room where the museum will be introduced to viewers through a 7-minute AVP and e-learning room for grade school students who wish to avail of the NHCP's online lessons in history and for training teachers during the summer on history, history teaching and the use of interactive technologies in the classroom.

Museum of Philippine Political History (Museo ng Kasaysayang Pampulitika ng Pilipinas),formerly located at the ground floor of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) Building in T. M. Kalaw Street, Ermita, City of Manila, is now in its new home, the Malolos Casa Real. It traces the evolution of the Filipino nation-state and the emergence of its system of government and democratic traditions amid the backdrop of long struggles for independence. Miniature dioramas, theatrical backdrops, interactive terminals and original artifacts recreate these periods, from the earliest communities to the Spanish and American colonial periods through the Second World War until the present. Highlighted are major events and figures in the country's political history.
